The 8th Swedish National Palliative Care Conference was held in Malmö from October 2nd to 4th, 2023. This year's conference was hosted by the Institute for Palliative Care at Lund University and Region Skåne in collaboration with The Swedish Council for Palliative Care and saw the participation of 966 attendees. The theme of the conference was 'Palliative Care of the Future.'
Members of the Swedish team from the iLIVE project were active contributors at the conference. Additionally, two members of the iLIVE consortium, Agnes van der Heide and John Ellershaw, were invited to discuss establishment of international research.
The conference provided a valuable platform for discussions, knowledge exchange, and collaborative efforts in advancing the future of palliative care in Sweden.
