Carl Johann Fürst is the lead investigator in Work Package 6, in charge of managing the data collection in iLIVE Project. This professor at Lund University explains in the interview how data collection works and why it is so important to manage it correctly.

how do we manage data collection?

In an international study like this one, the use of questionnaires poses a challenge. The translation of the questions is vital. The different aspects of the study should be understood in exactly the same way in all participants countries, regardless of cultural differencies and different legal contexts.

our goAL

Our goal is to develop a safe and standardized method to collect exactly the data our research teams need to know to reach our main goals. Also, understanding this data to use it as a tool to contribute to better palliative care for all patients.
